UCD Dramsoc Presents ‘Macbeth’

UCD Dramsoc

UCD Dramsoc’s Macbeth is proudly sponsored by the Institute of Education. William Shakespeare’s Macbeth tells the tale of three witches who foretell the Scottish general he will be the future King of Scotland, and the tragedy which ensues. This Leaving Certificate aimed production focuses on core themes in Macbeth: the corrupting power of unchecked ambition, toxic masculinity, and debilitating guilt. This production uses a modern take on the traditional structure of monarchy by placing this narrative in a contemporary corporate atmosphere. See UCD Dramsoc’s Macbeth in Astra Hall Wednesday January 18th and Friday January 20th at 7 p.m.!
